Our Inspiration
The inspiration for Destiny 2013 arose during the 2003 SARS outbreak that struck founder John B. Wu's native Hong Kong particularly hard. As Mr. Wu saw desperation hit an all-time high in his beloved city, he was compelled to reach out to those so hard hit. Rather than seek a temporary solution or offer a hand out, it became Mr. Wu's vision to found Destiny 2013, affording those affected by unemployment a dignity-sparing hand up by allowing them to earn money to support themselves.
